"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt creep in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This day is all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the yesterdays." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
It is so important to stay in the moment and live from that perspective. So many of us think about the past and worry about the future and we miss what is happening right now in front of us. Granted, we need to learn from the past or else we will keep getting the lessons dropped in our laps. When letting go, we also need to let go of the why. We don’t need to ruminate and figure it out because it was just an illusion anyway. As we let go of the layers of our lessons learned, we feel so much lighter and freer to be who we were meant to be.
Prepare yourself for life’s gifts so you will be ready to move into action when you see them. Positive expectancy is a great attitude to cultivate as you pay attention to what shows up for you and be ready to receive it. Slow down and look for the subtleties in life …
Happy creating the new freer you!
