You are in the decision-making mode as you de-clutter, and if you take more than a minute or so deciding, it probably needs to go. Think about it: if you aren’t sure you want it, and you can’t think of anyone else that wants it, it’s probably outlived its usefulness. Sometimes It’s hard to face the fact that you wasted money on a useless item but in the long run it isn’t worth the time and effort to figure out where it would belong if you allowed it to stay. To make it easier, think about re-purposing it but if you can’t think of any other use <either practical or decorative> … just let it go. Take it to goodwill if that will ease your mind and maybe someone else will find a purpose for it. Notice I used the word “it” a lot here: a very non-descriptive word that will help make it easier to let it go :>
