Our habits determine the direction of our lives. Our choices are determined by what we believe, think, say and do. Our subconscious controls 96% of our actions, so most of our habits are controlled by this part of our mind of which we are unaware. These habits were formed without our consent when we were very young, usually because of unresolved emotions or limiting beliefs. It makes sense that if we release the negative feelings we will no longer need the bad habit because we realize it doesn't serve us anymore. I would much rather allow my intuition to guide me rather than some automatic response I learned when I didn't know any better.
Habits aren't all bad: where would we be if we had to think about brushing our teeth or driving our car? The ones that can hold us back are habits like being addicted to the computer, staying up late, not having routines, not being true to our word, not setting goals, procrastinating … the list is endless.
You need to consider what areas of your life aren't working and then look at which habits are holding you back. First, figure out a way to drop your bad habits or limiting beliefs. There are many methods out there <some which I practice and am trained in>: EssenceWork, EFT, muscle testing and one brain defusion, NLP, just observing and releasing, asking your higher self for guidance, Soul Point, hypnosis, past life regression, etc. Find a method that works best for you.
Once you have removed the bad habits, there is now room for new habits to take their place. Take one life area at a time <maybe a new habit a month or a quarter> and develop a plan that will help you integrate the new habit into your life. For example: healthy habits might include eating nutritious foods, exercising, and getting plenty of rest. Then use visualizations, affirmations, mind movies, routines, an accountability group, a life coach -- whatever works for you -- to make that new habit a reality. It will change your life and help you achieve your vision!
