According to Hale, your mind is just a tool … it depends how you use it. The mind is a terrible master but an invaluable servant … the mind is not the enemy. It's a total waste of time to change our beliefs … we need to accept what is … and then change our response to it which then simply dissolves the old belief.
A simple process of the Sedona Method is to think of something that's bothering you that you want to change or improve. Then welcome all the feelings that come up … then ask:
Could you let it go? <yes, physically you can>
Would you let it go? <are you willing to?>
When? <this is a choice ... do you want to let it go now?>
This is a simple method for letting go which I have used and recommend.
