Many people were there for CEU credits <32 credits for $99 ... what a deal!> but I think the way he presented the information -- both his style and the actual information he shared -- was beneficial, especially to many who have never been exposed to some of the concepts before. I enjoyed Jeff's sense of humor and energy. Of course, I realize they make most of their money on the videos and books and CDs they sell ... and 700 people were definitely buying ... but that doesn't invalidate the value of the teachings.
I sat at the front ... I knew if I sat behind 700 other people I would lose focus. Of course, that meant I had to actually try harder since there were all those other people behind me that could potentially be looking at me. The more on concentrated on the form and stillness the more I lost track of others. As with anything you do, the experience becomes highly personal and you need to be aware of how YOU feel and not worry about others.
Universal "knowledge" comes from source and Jeff is an excellent purveyor of that knowledge with his ability to share in an effective way. His focus is breathing, qigong form and using food for healing. The main way qigong heals is that it moves chi and chi moves the blood. That's another reason why breathing techniques are so powerful ... they oxygenate the blood.
I would definitely recommend this workshop to others for the self-empowerment and tremendous energy it generates. He is hosting a 9-Breath Healing Circle in Orlando on 11-11-11 for anyone interested. The cost is $25 and it will be extremely powerful especially if he fills the stadium as he plans to do. It was powerful enough with just 700 people!
Tomorrow I will share his favorite prayer ... and why it is his favorite.
