When trying to determine your values, some areas to consider are: family/friends, money/career/financial, love/relationships, spirituality/purpose, and quality of life/health. Once you know your values, you become consciously aware of the unconscious drivers that determine your results in life. Once you know where you are right now, you can determine where you want to be and re-prioritize your values to mesh with your new goals. Start with the first area you want to concentrate on. It’s even better if you have a partner to do this process with: have them ask the questions and you just use stream of consciousness writing to respond. Values motivate us, but many unconscious values were formed when we were children. When the values in our subconscious are in conflict with our conscious thoughts we go nowhere, so it's important to spend some time with this process. Then we need to examine our beliefs and change our limiting beliefs to positive beliefs.
Values are energized desires endorsed by the personality that lead to action in order to keep something or to get something. Core values are things we feel strongly enough about to pursue regardless of the consequences. When our values are aligned with our goals, we get quick, effortless results.
